Delete your Phill account

For Phill on the web, Android and iPhone. No sign-in needed to read this.

It takes a minute and you can do it yourself. Here's how, and what happens next.

Delete it in the app

1. Open Phill and sign in.
2. Tap your avatar in the top corner and choose Account.
3. Scroll to Delete your account and tap Delete my account.
4. Follow the prompt to confirm. It can't be undone.

What goes straight away

Your login and everything linked to you: your plans, kitchen, preferences, recipes, baskets, reminders, anything Phill remembers about you, and any feedback you sent. If you'd joined the waitlist with the same email, that entry goes too.

What stays, and for how long

• Copies in our encrypted backups can stay for up to 35 days, then they're gone for good. If we ever restore a backup, we delete your account from it again before it goes back into use.
• A short note that an account was deleted (its ID, the date and a scrambled form of the email, not the address itself) stays for 36 days. It's only there so deleted data stays deleted if we restore a backup.
• Anonymous totals across all of Phill, like how many weeks were planned, aren't linked to you, so they stay.

Can't sign in?

Email support@phillmybasket.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We'll take it from there.
